UFCW Local 75 is looking for energetic, reliable members to participate in our Legislative and Political lost time program in Ohio.
Duties of the political and legislative program include but are not limited to: registering UFCW members to vote, engaging members around candidates and issues, recruiting members for Active Ballot Club (ABC), recruiting members to attend political events, lobbying legislators, canvassing voters (labor walks), phone banking voters, get out the vote activities, and more. UFCW Local 75 and UFCW International Union will provide training.
Prior political and legislative experience is not needed. Qualified candidates will be paid 40 hours a week to work for UFCW Local 75. Work hours and duties vary; flexibility is a must.
