Your UFCW Local 75 Campbell Soup Union Bargaining Committee met with representatives from the Company on Tuesday, January 19, and Wednesday, January 20, 2016.
The Company gave a presentation on the state of Campbell;s and emphasized two key bargaining objectives; improving team stability and improving employee health and managing the cost of health care. The Union’s key bargaining objectives include eliminating the differences between new wave and seniority employees, maintaining quality, affordable health care for members and your families, and securing guaranteed wage increases during the term.
The Union and the Company exchanged initial non-economic proposals. The Union made proposals regarding overtime notification, temporary vacancies, and how jobs are filled, among other issues.
The committees will meet again on January 26, 27, and 28.
