Members in Cincinnati Meijer Stores Approve New Four-Year Agreement

IMG_0173Members of UFCW Local 75 working in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati Area Meijer stores ratified a new-four year agreement this fall. The new contract includes wage increases for all employees, higher starting rates and fewer progressions through wage brackets, identical starting rates in Ohio and Kentucky, a new premium for Service Coordinators, language to protect 40-hour work weeks for full-time employees, and new provisions regarding claiming of holiday work.

The new contract covers about 1,300 people and takes effect October 4, 2015.
