UFCW75, Toledo Kroger Progress in Bargaining

UFCW Local 75 and Kroger reconvened to continue negotiations for the Kroger Grocery/Non-Food and Meat Agreements. We know that the bargaining process has been long, and we appreciate your patience.

We’ve made good progress and tentatively agreed to language items, including claiming.

As you know, the health care plan designs and language ratified in Cincinnati and Dayton will be part of the new Toledo Agreement. This bigger, stronger plan secures some of the best benefits in the industry. Your Bargaining Committee has been working diligently to ensure that there is a smooth transition to the new benefit plan.

In our next meeting, we will continue our work on negotiating wages. Since the outstanding issues are few, we hope to be able to reach a settlement soon.

The Toledo Kroger Grocery/Non-Food and Meat Agreements are on extension. Our next meeting is scheduled for September 11.
