Bargaining Continues with Kroger; Company Offers New Comprehensive Proposal

UFCW Local 75 and Kroger reconvened last week to continue bargaining a new contract for members in Cincinnati Area stores.  Your Union Bargaining Committee has been working to negotiate an agreement that improves language, protects affordable health care benefits, and guarantees wage increases.

We’ve been able to address and resolve a number of outstanding issues, and we want to make sure that any changes to your contract are as manageable as possible; we’ve addressed many of the issues mentioned in our bargaining survey.  The Company gave us a new comprehensive offer that reflects a lot of this work in bargaining.  We are reviewing the proposal and expect the process to take about a week.

Your contract remains on extension. Your wages and benefits will not change as a result of the contract extension; the extension includes retroactivity.
