Victory for Cincinnati Processing Workers

CP4Workers at Cincinnati Processing—who cut, package, and price pork that is sold in Kroger stores—have voted to accept their first union contract as members of UFCW Local 75. Together, Cincinnati Processing workers are not only improving their jobs and quality of life; they’re also making our union stronger.

After weeks of negotiations and a unanimous strike vote, the workers’ bargaining committee reached a tentative agreement with the company last week. On March 26, workers overwhelmingly voted to approve their first union contract. For the first time ever, Cincinnati Processing employees will have guaranteed annual raises, overtime pay, guaranteed hours, and a grievance procedure for resolving problems at work.

Cincinnati Processing workers are building a better future for their families and a stronger union for us all.
